About CrashMeds
Prescriptions On A Lien
CrashMeds works with Personal Injury Attorneys to provide non-recourse prescription medications to accident victims on a lien or Letter of Protection basis.
This means that CrashMeds pay for all medication costs during treatment until the lawsuit or settlement is resolved and never attempts to collect from your client directly, even if the case/claim is dropped.

No, this is not a discount card. This is a pharmacy benefit card, much like a regular insurance card. The pharmacy bills us when you pick up your prescription, we pay all bills, and file a lien against the proceeds of the associated case / claim.
It’s 3 easy steps.
- Enter the patient’s basic info into your portal
- A digital card will be instantly sent to your clients phone and Email
- They show the card to any pharmacy and walk out paying $0 out of pocket
Once a completed form is received, one of our representatives will immediately input the information in the system. A CrashMeds card is issued in under a minute. ***Missing information can cause a delay***
Once a pharmacy card has been activated, a copy of the card is sent directly to the client’s email address that is entered in the portal and sent directly to their smartphone via image text. A copy of the pharmacy card is also faxed and/or emailed to you (the attorney) for your records.
Everywhere! The pharmacy card is accepted at over 90,000 pharmacies including your local Costco, Rite Aid, CVS, Target, Walgreens. We have yet to find a pharmacy that doesn’t accept the CrashMeds card.
Have your client call us immediately before leaving the pharmacy, the issue can usually be resolved within minutes.
We give you complete control over which medications are covered or not covered. We have a very sophisticated system that will identify and block any medication with a high likelihood of not being case-related. The system will send you an Email in real-time requesting approval to fill it or not.
Our system will aggregate and send all records directly to the case manager weekly, as more medications are filled.
When it comes time to settle, you’ll only need to deal directly with us. We work with all of the pharmacies to automatically handle billing through our system and will have a signed settlement back to you within 30 minutes.
